Classic golden amber color, our summer/fall liquid honey is made of nectars from summer herbs such as oregano, lavender, sage, thyme and basil, as well as summer vegetables such as cucumbers and squashes, and summer/fall flowers including coneflowers, coreopsis, clover, viburnums, daisies, boneset and goldenrod. Our bees continue to make honey well into October-November. Summer/fall honey has a more pronounced honey flavor, and we can see the differences in the honey from frames within the same hive!

Raw Wildflower Honey Info
Honey should not be fed to people less than 1 year old, or to those who have compromised immune systems. Store with the cap on tightly; moisture from the air can spoil honey, and NEVER add water to honey!
Raw honey means it has not been pasturized. We gravity filter to remove bits of wax, but such filtering leaves all the pollen and of course all the enzymes too. If honey crystalizes, reliquify by placing jar in a container of hot water - not boiling! - and be patient. Microwaving honey cooks it, thereby killing the enzymes and potentially ruining the flavor.
Liquid raw honey crystalizes faster than store honey because pasturization at high heat keeps the honey liquid for a long time. Real honey always crystalizes after time.
